Beginning for the 2025-2026 school year, HCS students in grades K-12 are not permitted to display or use a cell phone, smartwatch, or other electronic communication device on school property during the school day.

2025-2026 Georgia Milestones Highlights: Significant growth was demonstrated in mathematics, with notable increases in the percentage of students achieving Proficient Learner or above. Fourth-grade math showed a remarkable 12-percentage-point increase, while fifth-grade math increased by 7 percentage points.

Our students achieved great success on the AMIRA reading assessments, meeting or surpassing the district's average growth benchmarks across kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grades.

Our school offers a diverse array of enriching extracurricular opportunities, including chorus, percussion ensemble, cheerleading, basketball, Junior Beta Club, robotics, and the distinguished Student Ambassadors program.

Three of our talented students have had their artwork selected for display in the Superintendent's Art Gallery, located at the Henry County Board of Education building.

Congratulations to our Teacher of the Year, Folake Aiyeyomi. She is an exceptional educator whose passion for her students and commitment to their success are evident in everything she does. She creates a positive, supportive classroom environment where students feel valued, encouraged, and empowered to learn. Her dedication, compassion, and willingness to go above and beyond make a lasting impact on both her students and colleagues. Ms. Aiyeyomi is truly deserving of the honor of Teacher of the Year!
