Hello! My name is Lakeshia Fleming, your co-school counselor. I am happy to be a part of Dolphin Nation!  

I believe that collaboration is essential in working together with staff, families, and our community partners for the overall success of our students.  I also believe that families are our most valued stakeholders and key allies in supporting student development.  Building trust and having open communication regularly with staff, students, families, and community stakeholders fosters strong relationships.

My goals are to support student success in academic, behavior and socio-emotional well-being. Promote equity and access to ensure all students receive the support they need.  Guide career and college readiness by helping student explore limitless future opportunities.  Foster a safe, inclusive school climate where all students feel loved, valued, and respected.

I am inspired by the standards of the school counseling profession and will uphold integrity, empathy, and continuous learning for all students.  The growth and resilience of our students by assisting them in overcoming challenges and thrive motivates me deeply.
