Welcome Letter

Dear Parent(s) and Students:

Welcome to Wesley Lakes Elementary. I hope you had a restful and safe summer.  The 2024-2025 school year is here.  We will be exploring and learning many new concepts and ideas.

 I am Mrs. Y. Williams, your child’s Kindergarten teacher.  I have over 28 years of elementary teaching experience. I am a product of the Henry County School System.  My husband and I have four children ages 23, 22, 20 and 13.

  Homework will be reading for 15- 20 minutes every night, working on recognition of numbers, letters, sounds and completing any assignment that was not completed during the learning session. 

I believe that a good parent/teacher relationship is necessary for the success of your child.  Throughout the year I will communicate with you through notes, telephone calls, progress reports, report cards, Class Dojo and parent/teacher conferences. You are welcome to contact me if you have any questions or concerns at any time. Please allow me 24 hours to respond.  You may also contact me by email and the numbers listed below.

 Your participation and support for the 2024-2025 year is greatly appreciated and will help to aid in the success of our students during learning.  Remember we are all learning and striving for success.    When our students are successful, we all win.
